Organic Chemistry:
Organic chemistry study of those chemical compounds that consists basically of carbon and hydrogen. In Organic chemistry we study about the properties of Carbon elements, carbon compounds and their properties, composition, reaction and preparation of carbon containing compounds. It does not mean that carbon containing compounds which includes not only hydrocarbons, but also compounds which with any other number of elements. Including: hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, halogen, Silicon, sulphur, phosphorus, etc.
Inorganic Chemistry:
Organic chemistry study of compounds compound containing carbon and inorganic chemistry is the study of compounds which does not contain carbon-hydrogen atoms in it. Simply it is opposite of organic chemistry. The substances that do not contain carbon-hydrogen bonding are metals, salts, etc.
There are 100,000 number inorganic compounds on this planet. We study the properties and chemical characteristics of inorganic substance.
Classification of Inorganic Compounds:
- Acids : Hydrochloric acid + water ➡️ H+ + Cl
- Bases : Potassium Hydroxide + H2O ➡️ K + +OH-
- Salts
- Oxides
